Using Facebook & Twitter for Business
Can using Facebook and Twitter really help your business? Which platform should you be on? How do you get others to “follow” you or “like” your Facebook page? This workshop will provide you with an understanding how to navigate Facebook and Twitter so that you can efficiently and effectively use these platforms to help grow your business. We’ll review the “W” questions: where to spend your time, what to do once you get there, when you should post, and why social media is a smart way to market your company. Get practical tips that you can put to work right away to increase visibility for your business.
Extending Your Reach Online
Search engine optimization (SEO) is critical to driving traffic to your website, but what happens when visitors land on your site? Is the content user focused or internal jargon? Are visitors able to get accomplish what they came to your site for, quickly? Attend this workshop to get easy-to-implement tips to help improve your visibility, build your brand, and grow your website traffic. Topics discussed will include:
- The user experience: Making your website more intuitive for visitors
- Understanding and optimizing your online presence
- Getting found: The mystery of SEO (search engine optimization)
Google Analytics Review
In a group setting or one-on-one, we will review Google Analytics screen by screen. By reviewing the key metrics you will learn to identify which marketing strategies are working for you. We’ll review positive and negative trends so you will be able to assess future marketing endeavors. You will learn:
- Where, geographically, your website visitors are coming from
- Whether they’re using PCs, Macs, or mobile devices, and which ones
- What verbiage they are typing into the search bar when looking for your business
- Which social sites are sending traffic to your site
- Which pages on your site get the most traffic
- How long visitors are spending on your site, and which pages they’re visiting
Lead Generation
“If you build it they will come” doesn’t work when it comes to your website. In order for your business to grow, you need to be constantly filling the pipeline — the sales funnel — with relevant and promising contacts and opportunities. Driving targeted website traffic is the first step. We’ll review a variety of ways to generate leads, and specific strategies for nurturing those leads to convert them into customers.
Conquering LinkedIn
In a group setting or one-on-one, we will review each section of a personal or company LinkedIn profile, demonstrating how to make edits and providing tips for best practices to highlight your online visibility. We will review use of groups, recommendations, skills, answers, reading list, and other applications that are relevant for your unique situation. Hands-on workshop if desired.
Learn Facebook or Twitter
In a group setting or one-on-one, we will walk through how to build and edit a business Facebook page or Twitter profile. Key sections of the profile will be discussed. Best practices for engagement, including “likes,” comments and shares will be reviewed. We will explain how to find valuable pages/profiles to follow, based on your business and target clients. We’ll cover elements of a good post, including tagging, hash tags, uploading photos and videos, and linking to your content and others. We will review scheduling tools and will provide tips for best practices to maintain cadence. Interactive, hands-on workshop, customizable to your needs.
