We are currently scheduling events for 1H 2018. We offer both community events and in-house workshops for an individual company or client group. Workshop content may be adapted to meet the needs of a particular client for in-house programs.

Online Amplify is a certified vendor offering training programs through the MA Workforce Training Fund. If you are a Massachusetts-based employer with fewer than 100 employees, you may qualify for partial tuition reimbursements through the Workforce Training Fund. Contact us to learn more.

INFORMATIVE, ENGAGING PRESENTATIONS

  • Conquering LinkedIn – Supervisors’ Connection

    May 16, 2018 ~ 8 am – 10 am

    Sponsored by North Shore Community College, Corporate Executive Education

    LinkedIn is a powerful online platform for professional networking. In this interactive workshop, we will review each section of a personal LinkedIn profile, demonstrating how to make edits and providing tips for best practices to highlight your online visibility. We will cover privacy settings, use of groups, status updates, blogging through LinkedIn’s publisher platform, recommendations, skills, managing connections and other applications that are relevant for your unique situation. Building and leveraging company profiles will also be reviewed.

    Workshop Takeaways:

    • Strategies for using LinkedIn to increase your visibility and credibility
    • Best practices for growing and communicating with your network
    • An improved comfort level with navigating the LinkedIn platform

  • Extending Your Reach Online

    Search engine optimization (SEO) is critical to driving traffic to your website, but what happens when visitors land on your site? Is the content user focused or internal jargon? Are visitors able to get accomplish what they came to your site for, quickly? Attend this workshop to get easy-to-implement tips to help improve your visibility, build your brand, and grow your website traffic. Topics discussed will include:

    • The user experience: Making your website more intuitive for visitors
    • Understanding and optimizing your online presence
    • Getting found: The mystery of SEO (search engine optimization)

     

    Google Analytics Review

    In a group setting or one-on-one, we will review Google Analytics screen by screen. By reviewing the key metrics you will learn to identify which marketing strategies are working for you. We’ll review positive and negative trends so you will be able to assess future marketing endeavors. You will learn:

    • Where, geographically, your website visitors are coming from
    • Whether they’re using PCs, Macs, or mobile devices, and which ones
    • What verbiage they are typing into the search bar when looking for your business
    • Which social sites are sending traffic to your site
    • Which pages on your site get the most traffic
    • How long visitors are spending on your site, and which pages they’re visiting

     

    Strategic Marketing/Lead Generation

    “If you build it they will come” doesn’t work when it comes to your website. In order for your business to grow, you need to be constantly filling the pipeline – the sales funnel – with relevant and promising contacts and opportunities. Driving targeted website traffic is the first step. We’ll review a variety of ways to generate leads, and specific strategies for nurturing those leads to convert them into customers.

     

    Blogging on WordPress

    Blogging is a proven way to illustrate your expertise and increase your visibility, and WordPress is the leading blogging platform. In this workshop we will review:

    • How to navigate the back end of the platform (including posts, comments, SEO, formatting, scheduling and more)
    • Writing to capture your visitor’s attention
    • Tools to maintain cadence
    • Plug-ins, widgets and social sharing to expand your reach

     

    Conquering LinkedIn

    In a group setting or one-on-one, we will review each section of a personal LinkedIn profile, demonstrating how to make edits and providing tips for best practices to highlight your online visibility.     Learn Twitter

    In a group setting or one-on-one, we will walk through how to build and edit a business Twitter profile. Key sections of the profile will be discussed. Best practices for engagement, including retweets, mentions and follows will be reviewed. We will explain how to find valuable profiles to follow, based on your business and target clients. We’ll cover elements of a good post, including tagging, hash tags, uploading photos and videos, and linking to your content and others. We will review scheduling tools and will provide tips for best practices to maintain cadence. Interactive, hands-on workshop, customizable to your needs.

     

    Building Your Brand Online and Offline

    Your presence – both online and offline (in person) – both contribute to the impact you make. Frankly, we can’t create a positive impression with one and not the other … and anything less than a professional presence can wreck your career or business reputation. In this program you will learn to manage:

    • your online presence – WHAT visitors and potential clients read about you online, and
    • your offline personal presence – HOW you present yourself as a trusted professional to the live world

    This co-branded program is offered to businesses in partnership with Betsy Day of Signature Presence at Work and can be adapted to meet your company’s needs.

     

    Using Facebook for Business

    Can using Facebook really help your business? Is it the right platform for your business? How do you get others to “like” your Facebook page? This workshop will provide you with an understanding how to navigate Facebook so that you can efficiently and effectively use the platform to help grow your business. Best practices for engagement, including “likes,” comments and shares will be reviewed. We’ll review the “W” questions: where to spend your time, what to do once you get there, when you should post, and why social media is a smart way to market your company. Get practical tips that you can put to work right away to increase visibility for your business.

    We also conduct comprehensive content marketing training to help you approach your content marketing in a strategic way, offering you systematic, sustainable, logically-driven processes to achieve marketing results.
