Back to School: Autumn Workshops
The crisp mornings and shorter days offer a clear signal that sadly, summer is ebbing and fall will soon be upon us. While the autumn theme of “back to school” resonates for children and parents, the mood is similar for businesses — back to a more structured schedule including travel, training, formal networking and educational opportunities.
With two-thirds of the calendar year behind us, time is running out to positively impact your 2014 results. If you’re not making the most of marketing opportunities, you’re not capturing the customers and the revenues that you could be.
We’re offering several workshops this fall to help you ramp up your marketing effectiveness.
In this interactive workshop, we’ll review each section of a LinkedIn profile, demonstrating how to make edits and providing tips for best practices to highlight your online visibility. You’ll learn the difference between recommendations and endorsements, balancing privacy and visibility, how to effectively use status updates and groups, and tips for growing your LinkedIn network.
Strategic Online Marketing & Lead Generation
Oct 28, 2014, 10 am – 12 noon
“If you build it they will come” doesn’t work when it comes to your website. In order for your business to grow, you need to be constantly filling the pipeline — the sales funnel — with relevant and promising contacts and opportunities. Driving targeted website traffic is the first step. We’ll review a variety of ways to generate leads, and will offer specific strategies for nurturing those leads to convert them into customers.
Oct 30, 2014, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Are you spending too much time marketing and not seeing the results you want? Or are you overwhelmed by all the marketing activities you’re told you should be doing? Come to this workshop to learn how to identify the right marketing strategies to drive promising contacts and opportunities, and the best ways to nurture leads to convert them into customers.
In this interactive workshop, we will review key sections of a Twitter profile, as well as best practices for engagement, including tagging, hash tags and voice. You’ll learn how to find valuable profiles to follow, based on your business and target clients, and we’ll review examples of effective tweets. We will provide tips and platforms to maintain cadence and tools to measure effectiveness.
Please see our Events page for additional details or to register for any of our workshops.
